There is no such procedure. If you do not have a question, do not ask. My goal as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable during therapy. Some people come up with organizational issues (payment, planning, therapy process). Others want to know more about the approach and whether I have experience helping with such problems they are struggling with.

No, you need not prepare or bring anything with you. In the first session, you just talk about yourself and what excites you. If you have questions about my practice, I will be happy to answer them during the session.

In any way convenient for you.

The duration of therapy depends on your needs and the severity of the problems you plan to cope with. I am not inclined to keep customers for long. I prefer to discuss the duration of therapy openly, so we can consider it together.

The standard session may last from 45 to 60 minutes.

It depends on the dynamic of your relationships. In some situations, it makes little sense. Sometimes it is better to make a referral for pair therapy, but at times individual therapy can be very effective without outside help. Sometimes people start individual therapy and later realize that time will be most productive in the format of couple therapy.

Sessions usually occur once a week. However, if you want more frequent consultations, you can ask for it.

You can sign up for an online consultation. Your privacy will be respected as in a personal meeting.

I am not a psychiatrist, so I don’t have such authority. Sometimes I can recommend you to take pills. However, you will still have to discuss these recommendations with the psychiatrist and get his permission.

We work with insurance to save your personal expenses and reduce the hassle associated with registering and awaiting reimbursement. Many insurance policies offer partial reimbursement to see the therapist offline. You can consult your insurance company regarding this benefit. Please refer to our fees and insurance page for more information.

You can pay in any way convenient for you, including cash, checks, PayPal, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

This is a fairly common occurrence. If you have received support from loved ones, you may be ashamed or embarrassed. Everything I can recommend you is to remember that we have a therapeutic environment during the sessions. There is no condemnation in the sessions; I offer you understanding and acceptance.

When registering, the First Name and Last Name fields are optional. Also, during registration, you can choose any "nickname" that identifies you in the system. I can ask you to provide personal data only if necessary.
